A single-storey family house with a loft, an arched verandah and carport, shown from the design visualisations through to the finished building.
01 / 04
The house is arranged as a low white rendered volume under broad gabled roofs with deep timber-faced fascias, with a smaller loft box breaking through the ridge. A run of arched openings forms the front verandah and continues into an open carport at one end. Windows and doors are hardwood in a dark red brown stain, set in white surrounds. The design visualisations that open the set show the same building with a grey metal roof; as built it is finished in terracotta tile.

Inside, the plan opens into a tall living space carried up into the roof, with a sloping white ceiling, circular vents and a round light high in the gable wall, and a slatted timber balustrade to the loft above. Floors are large gloss porcelain tile at ground level, with timber-look plank in the upper rooms. Doors are solid hardwood with louvered lower panels.
03 / 04
The stair is the centrepiece of the interior. It is built with solid hardwood treads on plastered risers, a shaped hardwood handrail and slim black steel balusters, turning against a wall pierced by a hardwood window that lets daylight into the flight.
04 / 04
Construction photographs record the stair going in with plywood protection still on the treads, windows arriving taped and unglazed, and the tiling being laid. The finished exterior sits behind a white boundary wall with perforated screen panels, black steel sliding gates and a glazed canopy over the entry court.
