This was an existing house, renovated, and the first photographs show it finished. The walls are rendered white under brown-trimmed eaves. Arches run along the upper veranda behind black wrought-iron balustrades, and the same arches frame the entrance porch and its carved timber double door. A sliding gate opens from the lane into a walled garden. Inside, floors are timber parquet and strip, and stepped ceilings carry concealed strip lighting.

The middle photographs show where the house started. The before photograph shows the old house, faced in tiles, with metal-framed windows. The renovation photographs follow. Scaffolding stands against the walls and the upper veranda is bare concrete. Inside, rooms are stripped back to plaster, and new openings are cut down to the floor. The kitchen is rebuilt with a concrete counter under a translucent roof.

Workers then fit the last pieces. They lay timber flooring around the dining table, hang timber doors and fix the wrought-iron stair balustrade. The set closes with 3D renders made before the work began. These show the house white behind a low wall, with arched verandas, red awnings over the windows and a covered terrace set with a table and chairs.
